Paul Scott

Paul’s civil litigation practice is unique in that he regularly represents both plaintiffs and defendants. Paul’s diverse practice includes catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death cases, such as automobile and trucking accidents, premises liability, negligent security, products liability, and medical malpractice. Paul also handles cases that involve insurance-coverage disputes, bad faith, direct actions, UM/UIM, class actions, civil rights, and appeals. Paul has been entrusted with the representation of a broad array of clients including individuals, families, insureds, small businesses, insurance companies, multi-national and publicly traded corporations, Judges, and the State of Georgia.

In his plaintiff’s practice, Paul has recovered millions of dollars for individuals and families, through settlements and judgments, and is often associated by fellow lawyers to represent plaintiffs when his firm is not conflicted. In his defense practice, Paul has secured judgments absolving his clients of all liability, negotiated favorable settlements in high stakes litigation, and has utilized the appellate process to reverse unfavorable, existing law to extinguish pending claims and to foreclose future liability.

Paul’s unique experience on both sides of the “v.” in civil lawsuits, coupled with the depth and breadth of his legal practice, uniquely qualify him to mediate civil disputes for individuals, insurers, and businesses seeking claim resolution.
